Biography

Ewa Rzechowska, dr. habil., associate professor and long-time head of the Department of Developmental Psychology at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She employs artificial intelligence methods (data mining) for the qualitative analysis of the internal diversity of phenomena. This process involves transitioning from qualitative case study analyses to constructing generalizations in the form of multivariate models, which reveal underlying mechanisms and the origins of observed differences. She has tested her original methodological approaches by studying individuals at various developmental stages, including childrens peer collaboration, teenage motherhood, early school dropout, the challenges faced by young adults in an era of technological and cultural shifts (personal development, building close relationships, entering the workforce), family and professional engagement among middle-aged individuals in an unstable job market, and the work of aid service employees. The results of her research have informed recommendations for education, therapy, career counseling, and coaching.

Research Interests

She specializes in human developmental psychology across the lifespan individual differences psychology and health psychology.
