Biography

Gerald Samuel Stein, M.D. is a U.S. psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and forensic psychiatrist. He is the senior author of the L. L. Dickerson rodmaker psychobiography as well as an avid bamboo rod collector and trout fisherman. Jerry graduated from Northwestern University and Northwesterns Fineberg School of Medicine, matriculating after just three years of college. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Most of his psychiatry residency was taken at the prestigious Mount Zion Hospital. He is a graduate of the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. He is Board Certified in psychiatry, has been certified in Forensic Psychiatry, and is certified as a Training & Supervising Psychoanalyst. He is the recipient of the Hoedemacher Award for writing the years best clinical paper and the Herbert S. Gaskill M.D. Award for creativity in clinical work for his DVD: Human/Nature.
