Davor Seifert was born 15th of November 1955 in Zagreb, Croatia where he finished his elementary and grammar school. In 1974 started to study at School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb and graduated 1979. For student scientific paper titled Promjene okusne osjetljivsti za slano i slatko kod Lichen ruber jezika I Linguae villosae he received the Rectors Award in 1979. After mandatory internship he passed professional exam 1981. In 1982 he worked in Dental office in Public Health centre Maksimir, and from 1983/84 he worked in prosthodontic Dental practice in Public Health centre Maksimir. From 1986 until 1988 he worked in polyvalent dental office of the Factory J. Kras in Zagreb. In 1988 he started a specialization in prosthodontics and he passed specialist exam in 1991. From 1991 until 1993 he worked in Prosthodontics office in Public Health centre Maksimir as a specialist. From June 1993 he is working in his own Private dental practice. In 1992 he completed his Masters degree at School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb with following thesis: Variation of relations between referent parameters for orientation of casts in articulators space and in 1996 he also completed his Ph.D. with thesis named: Clinical orientation of occlusal plane with use of modification of Balkwills angle. In 1997 he was Private Senior Assistant at the Department for Fixed Prosthodontics, School of Dental Medicine University of Zagreb. He became Assistant Professor in 2001 at the Department for Fixed Prosthodontics, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb until 2007.
