Haibo Jiang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Marine Sciences, Ningbo University. He received his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. His research experience includes international collaborations as a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California (2016–2017) and research visits to McGill University, Canada (2012, 2013). His work focuses on phytoplankton ecology, algal molecular biology, and marine microbial processes, exploring how microalgae influence marine biogeochemical cycles and global climate. He has published widely in leading journals such as Nature Climate Change and Global Change Biology and has led numerous national research projects. Dr. Jiang has been recognized with several honors, including the National Young Innovation Award in Microbial Ecology and the Ningbo "Fan 3315" Innovation Talent Award.
