Biography

Eric Yi-Hsiu Huang is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taipei, Taiwan. He is also an Attending Physician at the Department of Urology at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, a position he has held since 2006. His clinical interests are focused on uro-oncological surgeries, particularly laparoscopic and robotic procedures for prostate, kidney, and urinary bladder surgeries.

He earned his MD from National Yang-Ming University and completed his urology training at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He also holds a Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at National Yang-Ming University in 2014. He spent a year as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Visiting Scholar at the USC Institute of Urology in California, USA from 2010 to 2011

He is an active member of several national and international societies, involved with organizations such as the Endourological Society, Taiwan Urological Association, and the Chinese Association for Endoscopic Surgery. Additionally, he is a reviewer for multiple journals, including the Journal of Endourology, Urology, and Bladder Cancer, etc. His passion for research has resulted in over 60 peer-reviewed journal articles and seven book chapters on urology and clinical oncology. He also delivered over 80 lectures at national and international conferences.

Uro-oncological Researches including Prostate Cancer Renal Cancer Urothelial Carcinoma General Urology Conduct clinical Basic and translational Researches Biophotography researches of Raman spectroscopy and Optical coherence tomography
