Biography

Shukhrat Iskandarovich Giyasov Graduated from the Moscow Medical Academy named I.M.Sechenov (Russia). He Passed clinical subordination at the Department of Urology of MMA named I.M. Sechenov (Russia). Also, he Passed a Clinical Residency at the Department of Urology Tashkent Medical Academy (Uzbekistan). He worked as a Junior Researcher at the Laboratory of “Epidemiology, Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Urolithiasis” of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Urology, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 1998, he defended his thesis for a candidate of medical sciences (Ph.D.) on the topic: "Comparative evaluation of open and percutaneous surgery for staghorn nephrolithiasis." In 2007, advanced training in Salzburg (Austria) on the topic “Laparoscopy in Urology”. In 2015, defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Complications of endoscopic surgery for nephrolithiasis: causes, classification, tactics, prognosis." He has extensive research credentials, is widely published, and has presented at many medical/surgical conferences/meetings. He is a member of the Urology Societies of Uzbekistan, EAU. He Speaks Uzbek, Russian and English.
