Biography

Tsvetelina V Velikova main interest in Clinical Immunology crosses the disciplinary boundaries between basic science and clinical implication with a focus on immunologic diagnostic. She found some challenge in selecting the right methods for testing the patients with suspected immune-mediated disease, and also found the creative moment of diagnose establishing for exciting. Through working on my PhD thesis on autoimmune gastrointestinal diseases (Inflammatory Bowel Disease, celiac disease), she developed expertise and interest in both diagnostics and therapy for these patients patients, with a continuing focus on research in that field. She also interested in cancer immunology and the immunotherapy opportunities, especially since our team has been working on Glioblastoma multiforme immunology. The educational scholarships are her passion and she will spare no effort to carry on my continued medical education.
