Biography

Professor Dunya Ali Hussain Al-Abbawy holds a PhD in Plant Ecology from the University of Basrah, Iraq, where she is currently a Professor in the Department of Ecology within the College of Science. She has held various academic leadership positions, including the Head of the Ecology Department Throughout her career, Professor Al-Abbawy has published many journal articles, focusing on aquatic macrophytes, water quality, and the ecology of Iraqi marshes.
