During his postdoctoral training with Drs. Shvartsman and Schupbach at Princeton University, he focused on studying cell signaling and tissue patterning in Drosophila melanogaster oogenesis. The research in his laboratory is supported by NSF and NIH and focuses on the use of genetic, molecular, and computational approaches to study the evolution of cell signaling, tissue patterning, and morphogenesis that pattern the Drosophila eggshell.

Research Interests
