Biography

Eman El-Kordy was born in Egypt and attended medical college in Tanta University at Egypt. After completing the six-year program, she was awarded an M.B.B.CH., (M.D) degree in medicine and surgery. After completing a one year internship; she practiced as a physician at Chest Department of Tanta University Hospitals for one year. Dr. ElKordy followed this work as a tutor at Histology Department, collage of Medicine, Tanta University; Egypt. Dr. El-Kordy completed her Master degree in cell and tissue science in the college of medicine, department of Histology at Tanta University, Egypt; with a dissertation on some histological, histochemical and ultrastructural studies of the effect of rifampin on the liver (Excellent degree). She followed this work as a Lecturer at Histology Department, collage of Medicine, Tanta University; Egypt. After that, El-Kordy completed her phD in the same specialty with a dissertation on scanning and transmission electron microscopic studies of the effect of diabetes on myocardium (Excellent degree) before taking the position of an assistant professor in the Division of Microscopic Anatomy in the Department of Histology, the University of Tanta, Collage of Medicine. Dr. El-Kordy's areas of expertise include, cell and tissue science, teaching histology, electron and scanning microscope, light microscopy, immunohistochemistry, problem based learning, curriculum development and management. Dr. El-Kordy is a reviewer for some journals and has manypublications including journal articles and conference papers, some of which are published in high-impact journals and well-cited.
