Biography

María Soledad Ruiz de Adana, PhD, MD, from the University of Malaga, specializing in Endocrinology and Nutrition. After Completing her Spanish Mir Training (1988-1992) At the Regional University Hospital of Málaga, She Have Been Involved in Clinical Practice, Teaching, Research, And Management Since 1993. At the Clinical Level as The Coordinator of the Integral Diabetes Plan in the Málaga-Este Region, At the Teaching Level, she is A Clinical Tutor Professor At the Faculty of Medicine of Málaga Since 2008, Where She Have Co-Supervised 6 Masters Thesis And 2 PhD Thesis (In Progress). At the Researcher Level, Her Activities Are Mainly Located in Dm1 And Dmonogenic. As Principal Investigator, I Have Coordinated 6 Research Projects, Funded by Public Calls. She Have Published Over 60 High-Impact Articles and Received the Ibima 2021 Award for Clinical Innovations in Monogenic Diabetes. She is a Founding Member of The Diabetes and Genetics Working Group of The Spanish Diabetes Society (Sed) And of the Spanish Monogenic Diabetes Registry, Of Which she Currently National Coordinator. Her Work Includes Contributions to National and International Research Initiatives. General Indicators of Quality of Scientific Production.
