Biography

Kuhadiya is an endocrinologist from Buffalo. He received his medical degree in Internal Medicine from Mount Sinai (Jersey City) Medical Center in June 2011 and was awarded "Valedictorian" for his overall performance and was also awarded the most outstanding third year resident. He completed his Masters in Public Health with majors in Epidemiology from Tulane University, School of Public Health in New Orleans in 2008. He has won several accolades and awards for his outstanding research in the area of type 1 diabetes including the two Helmsley Charitable Trust Award in 2014 and 2016. He was awarded first prize in best-case reports category in American Geriatrics Society National Meeting held in Chicago in 2009. His work on liraglutide and type 1 diabetes was cited by Medscape as top news stories coming out of AACE meeting at Las Vegas in 2014. In 2015, he was chosen by University at Buffalo as the Junior faculty for outstanding clinical research within 5 years of graduation. Dr. Kuhadiya has published in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented several research abstracts and case reports at scientific meetings. He is a consulting editor, editorial board member and peer-reviewer for many elite medical journals including Lancet, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Diabetes Care, Diabetes, British Medical Journal, Journal of Diabetes & Journal of Diabetes and Its Complications. As per Health grades he ranked 29 out of 895 endocrinologist in the state of New York in year 2015. He also serves on speaker bureau for several pharmaceuticals and also serves on their consultancy and leadership advisory board panel.
