Biography

Ashis kumar saha have been working as professor and head of the department of general medicine in k p c medical college, jadavpur, kolkata, west bengal, india. He published 37 original articles in the last five years in different indexed national and international journals, he has published one monogram “updates in dengue fever”, published by lambert publishing, germany one book “clinical methods and interpretations”, and published by jaypee brothers, new delhi. His two books “text book in clinical medicine” and bedside clinics and interpretation” is in the press. He is associate editor of two international and two national journals, editor of two monograms “chronic diarrhea” and “headache” under indian college of physicians. He is reviewer of more than 12 international and national journals. He has received award “sabita & balai chatterjee distinguished chair of innovation” for innovation and advancement in medicine, health care achiever award “best healthcare specialist in medicine in west bengal” in 2016, “bharat jyoti award” in 2017, ambassador of “asian council of scientific editors” in the year 2016. He has received ficp (india), facp (usa) and frcp (edinburgh) in 2015 and frcp (glasgow) in 2016 for his extensive work. He received two certificates on “basic and advanced bioethics” by unisco, two certificates “basic and advanced certificate in certification of death” by icmr. He is certified research methodologist certified by public health foundation of india. Recently he received “best citizen of india” by international publishing house. He received the certificate in management in mba in hospital administration.
