Biography

Hugo R. Ramos, M.D., Ph.D. is Adjunct Professor of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina, and past Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital de Urgencias, Córdoba, Argentina.
He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and a grant from the Secretary of Science and Technology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Cordoba for clinical research. Investigator for 52 international clinical trials on acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, diabetes, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. Served as President of the Ischemic Heart Disease Committee (2004) of the Argentine Federation of Cardiology, Vicepresident of the Scientific Committee of the XXXIV National Congress of Cardiology of the Argentine Federation of Cardiology (2016), and Past President of the Cordoba Cardiology Society (2017).
