Biography

Christopher Edet Ekpenyong is a senior Lecturer at the College of Health Sciences University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery and a Ph.D in Cardio-renal physiology. He is currently the chairman post graduate training committee in the department of human physiology, University of Uyo, and has published in several international peer review journals. He has won several local and international awards due to his numerous contributions in human medicine. His current areas of interest and active research include; Cardio-metabolic disorders, Cardio-renal medicine, Nutritional and nutritional disorders, Phyto-pharmacology, Oxidative stress, Occupational medicine, Obesity and Public health.
