Costache Irina-Iuliana, MD, PhD, graduated from the University of Medicine and Farmacy “Grigore T. Popa†Iasi, Faculty of Medicine in 1990. She is an Senior Physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and holds a general echography competence, focused on echocardiography. Since 2016 she works as a Coordinator of Advanced Surveillance and Treatment Coronary Patient Unit at the Cardiology Clinic of the St Spiridon Emergency Clinical Hospital Iași.Since October 2017 she is Vice-rector at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa†of Iași. Regarding the teaching career, she is Associate Professor at the Internal Medicine and Cardiology Department of University of Medicine and Farmacy “Grigore T. Popa†Iasi from 2015. She is an author of over 20 books of Cardiology and Internal Medicine and has collaborated on other 11 books as a co-author. Also, she is an author/co-author of over 30 ISI articles and over 50 BDI journals. She has participated as a lecturer at numerous scientific events in the cardiology field. She collaborated as a peer reviewer at several national and international BDI journals.
