Biography

Samad Rahimnejad got his Ph. D. degree in Marine Life Sciences form Jeju National University in South Korea in 2014. He has completed a postdoctoral course in Gangneung-Wonju National University in South Korea and currently pursuing another postdoctoral course in Jimei University in China. During Ph. D. course his research focused on determination of indispensible amino acid requirements of fish and evaluation of various plant proteins as potential protein sources to replace for fish meal. Currently, he is working on improving nutritional value of soybean meal, as the most promising candidate for fish meal replacement, through microbial solid-state fermentation. He has also performed several researches on evaluation of dietary additives such as protein hydrolysates, pre- and probiotics, and several other immunostimalnts, as means of improving fish performance and immune function.
