Rosa M. Pinto Bonilla is an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon and a part-time Professor of Human Anatomy in the School of Medicine at the University of Valencia. Her main research interest are all the anatomic changes related with the pathologies that are involved in her medical specialization. She did her Ph. Doctorate on Astrocytomas and prognosis factors in the Surgery Department of the University of Valencia, although she graduated in the University of Salamanca. Later on, she completed her 5 year fellowship in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery in Dr. Peset Hospital in Valencia and registered as member of the Spanish Association of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery - SECOT. After a period of professional practice, she obtained a teacher position in the Department of Embryology and Human Anatomy of the University of Valencia. She combines the teaching of Anatomy in the School of Medicine with the clinical and surgical daily practice in the Vithas Nisa Virgen del Consuelo Hospital.
