Biography

Shuang-Qin Yi (Yi SQ), graduated from Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine School of Medicine (HUTCM) with a Bachelor of Medicine. Then, he worked in digestive surgery in a general hospital in Beijing for 8 years. In 2001, he undertook research on the mechanism of perineural invasion of pancreatic cancer, obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Kanazawa University in Japan. After that, he engaged in scientific research and teaching at Tokyo Medical University and Kanazawa University Medical Research Institute as assistant professor, associate professor, respectively. Since 2013, he has been working as a tenured professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), Japan. He is a member of the American Pancreas Society, Japanese Society of Pancreatic Surgery and International Pancreas Society.

Research Interests

Focus on mainly biomarkers of digestive system tumors especially pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma early diagnosis and development research and clinic anatomy
