Sylvia Nikolaeva Genova is an associate professor, Department of General and Clinical Pathology, University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Medical Treatment "Sveti Georgi". She is graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv, majoring in medicine, Series Pd-93 Diploma No. 000056/16.11.1993. In 2006, She was approved by the Ministry of Finance of the MU Plovdiv as a chief assistant, in accordance with the current law, after a protected competition and the number of publications submitted. In June 2014, she was enrolled as a doctoral student on the topic of Immunohistochemical and Mutation-Genetic Correlations in Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma. Since January 2015, she had reassigned to the position of assistant at the Department of "General and Clinical Pathoanatomy and Section of Forensic Medicine" MU-Plovdiv. She is a member of the BLS, the Society of Pathologist and the ERS (European Respiratory Society).
