Pranjal Morang is UGC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Microbial Ecology Laboratory, Department of Botany, Gauhati University, Guwahati. He was a Senior Research Fellow at Assam University (2010-2013) and a visiting Lecturer at Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management, Sivasagar, Assam, India. He has authored or co-authored 12 Research papers including one book chapter in the field of Plant Protection (especially in tea). He is a Life Member of Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI), Indian Society of Mycology and Plant Pathology (ISMPP), Botanical Society of Assam (BSA). Dr Morang received the Ph.D. degree (2013) in Plant pathology and M.Sc. degree (2007) in Ecology and Environmental Science under the Faculty of Environmental Science, Assam University, Silchar, Assam India.
