Zora Dajic Stevanovic gained her bachelor and PhD in Biology at the Faculty of Biology University of Belgrade. Postdoctoral studies in Plant stress physiology she accomplished at the University of Sussex, Brighton, and the Institute John Innes Centre in Norwich, UK by gaining the Royal Society Grant. She is a full professor and Head of the Applied Botany Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. Prof. Dajic published more than 450 scientific publications, of over 110 in peer reviewed international journals. She is reviewer of papers in scientific journals and reviewer of international projects. Prof. Dajic was supervisor of 12 PhD candidates. She was still is engaged as participant or coordinator in many national and international research projects. Since 2008 she is President of the Association for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (AMAPSEEC).
