Daniela Vaskova Kasakova worked in the area of local government for more than 13 years. She is currently perusing her PhD at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Bratislava & in 2021, she studied at the Comenius University of Natural Sciences, where she graduated with the title RNDr. She focused on research on the removal of invasive non-native species using pelargonic acid and she is dedicated to the removal of invasive non-native trees.. The legal method of removing trees is a problem throughout Slovakia. She is currently working with arborists from the Czech Republic, where research on the Ailantus mushroom has begun, the negative effects of which we cannot yet predict. She is also a member of the board of directors of ISA Slovensko www.isa-arbor.sk, which brings together the lay and professional public in the field of wood care and is dedicated to the long-term issue of removing invasive trees. In 2019, she represented the Slovak Republic within the framework of ISA Slovakia in Atlanta, USA at the meeting of all countries.
