Nina Christine Dahl is a doctoral research candidate at the University of Oslo, where she researches on human rights (CRPD) for suspects in criminal cases and the interaction and communication between suspects with cognitive disabilities and police officers. Dahl has written several books about adults at risk and done research on legal security of people with cognitive disabilities. She was a part of the implementation of a Norwegian version of Safeguarding of vulnerable adults in Norway through the directorate where she is employed. The doctorate is a public PhD under the auspices of the directorate, which also collaborates with the The Norwegian Police University where she gives lectures. Dahl has worked for people with disabilities for many years, including interrogating interviews of people with intellectual disabilities in a police district.
