Biography

It is said that brevity is the soul of wit, therefore I shall be brief. I was born in Ciudad Lerdo, Durango; my hometown is located in the northern part of Mexico amidst a desertic expanse known as the Bolson de Mapimia. I studied Biology in the UJED, as I always felt the inclination towards all living creatures, followed by a PhD in Biotechnology majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology in the UANL. Not long after graduating, and much like Ishmael, took to the sea and embarked on a trip throughout 8 different countries in three continents for always roaming with a hungry heart much have I seen and known. It was during this time and in others prior that I had the greatest opportunity to learn as much as I could from everyone in my path, and even now I still feel the need to take to the sea once again.
