He is currently a researcher at the Research Institute of Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry. His research focuses on plant genetics and breeding, molecular biology, and multi-omics analyses, including transcriptomics, metabolomics, and genomics. He is particularly interested in plant functional traits and the molecular mechanisms underlying plant responses to abiotic stress. He has published his findings in peer-reviewed journals such as Industrial Crops & Products, Plants, International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS), and Forests. He also actively serves as a reviewer for several academic journals, including Sustainability, Agriengineering, Frontiers in Genetics, Agronomy, Horticulturae, Agriculture, Environmental Health, Forests, Land, Diversity, and Current Bioinformatics, among others.
