Biography

Sevinj Zellabdin Melikova was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. She received the bachelor (2000) and master (2002) degree from Baku State University. She received her Ph.D degree from Institute of Radiation Problems of NAS Azerbaijan 2015. Her dissertation work is devoted to the study of energy conversion of gamma radiation on borosilicates. She is a leading researcher at the Institute of Radiation Problems of NAS Azerbaijan. Her research interests are fundamental optical and spectroscopic studies of the mechanisms and peculiarities of adsorption and radiation transformation processes of water molecules in heterogeneous systems nanooxides + water under the influence of gamma irradiation. S.Z.Melikova in the author of 80 scientific articles and 1 book. She participated in many foreign conferences and projects.
