Dr. Fahad Awwadh Almarshadi is an Assistant Professor of Chemical and Environmental Toxicology at the Department of Public Health, College of Public Health and Health Informatics, University of Hail. Before joining academia, he served as the Director of Clinical Laboratory Services at the Royal Clinics, where he led strategic initiatives to enhance diagnostic quality and biosafety standards. His research sits at the intersection of environmental quality and human health, with a particular focus on designing, validating, and applying sustainable toxicological approaches that address real-world challenges in the Saudi environment. His multidisciplinary work integrates toxicology, environmental health, and risk assessment, aiming to advance public health resilience and sustainable environmental practices. As an educator, he has taught a wide range of courses, including insecticide toxicity and health, toxicology, biostatistics, community health, and infectious diseases, at several Saudi universities. He also pioneered the development of a specialized Environmental Health course tailored to the Saudi context, highlighting his commitment to localizing scientific education for regional impact. His research and publications cover diverse topics such as infectious diseases in community settings, radioisotope exposure in food chains, and sustainable strategies in toxicology, reflecting his broader mission to advance eco-conscious and health-centered scientific innovation. He has also served on advisory boards for several health-related and municipal academic committees, contributing his expertise to policy and environmental decision-making in Saudi Arabia.
