Dr. Mohamed Salem, a passionate educator and accomplished researcher with extensive expertise in zoology and life sciences (cellular and molecular biology). After earning his Ph.D. from the University of Bradford, his research has focused on understanding oxidative stress and DNA repair mechanisms, particularly in skin disorders such as vitiligo. Over the years, he had developed a deep commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and mentoring future researchers.
Currently, He serve as Programme Leader, Academic Coordinator, and Head of Life Science at the University of Bradford International College. In this role, he lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality teaching, foster student success, and create an engaging learning environment. His responsibilities include curriculum development, staff training, and quality assurance, ensuring academic excellence across our programs.
His career spans academia and industry, with previous roles including Associate Professor, Team Leader Scientist at Qiagen, and Postdoctoral Research Associate.
