Jin Tae Hong is a distinguished pharmacologist and toxicologist at Chungbuk National University, Korea. He earned his B.S. and M.S. from Chungbuk National University and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky. His career spans decades of impactful research and leadership, including roles as Senior Researcher at the Korea Food and Drug Administration and Director of the Medical Research Center at Chungbuk National University. He has served as Dean of the College of Pharmacy and President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Korea. His research focuses on tumor microenvironments, drug development for hepatic and neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory cytokines. With over 780 publications—300 as corresponding author—he has received numerous accolades, including the Ohdang Distinguished Lectureship Award (2023) and Best Citation Paper Award (2024). Hong continues to contribute actively to Korea’s biomedical research landscape through his advisory, academic, and industry leadership roles.
