Bibekananda Nayak, presently works as an Assistant Professor (Stage II) in the P. G. Department of Physics at Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha, India. He have consistently performed well in his academic career, earning first class with distinction in his bachelors and masters degrees and qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). He also had received prestigious research fellowships from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He holds a PhD (2013) in Physics from Utkal University and his thesis was focused on the cosmological aspects of Brans-Dicke theory. He had published 19 research articles in journals of high repute including Scientific Reports, Physical Review D, Physics Letters B and Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics etc. He is also recipient of Odisha Young Scientist Award in Physical Sciences (2015) and the Young Scientist Award in Theoretical Physics (2016).
