Biography

Carlos Frajuca is currently Visiting Professor of Superior Teaching at the Federal University of Rio Grande and has experience in detection of gravitational waves, materials, electromagnetic transducers, vocational education and high speed machines. He has completed his Masters and PhD in Science from the University of Sao Paulo (1996). Carlos was professor for 36 years at Sao Paulo Federal Institute (IFSP), Brasilia Federal Institute, Rio Grande Federal University, Louisiana State University and University of Western Australia with administrative experience as Research and Teaching Diretor (IFSP); Research, Teaching and Extension ProRectors and Substitute Rector of Brasilia Federal Institute. Research, Teaching and Extension ProRectors and Substitute Rector of Brasilia Federal Institute. Superior Education Course and Institution assessment for the Education Ministry in Brazil. Carlos Frajuca is lecturer in various research areas like Stellar Astrophysics, Compact Objects and Cosmology at the Federal University of Sao Paulo. He has experience in the area of Professional Education and in the area of Physics, with an emphasis on Instrumentation, working mainly on the following topics: parametric transducers, gravitational wave detectors and professional and technological education.
