Emanuele Contini is currently a Research Professor at Yonsei University in Seoul, a position he has held since 2022. He graduated with summa cum laude from the University of Padova in 2008 and earned his PhD in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of Trieste in 2014. Following his PhD, he gained significant experience as a PostDoc in both China and South Korea. Continis research primarily focuses on the application of semi-analytic models and numerical simulations to the study of galaxy formation and evolution. His work is particularly centered on the formation of the intracluster light, the effects of environment on galaxy quenching, galaxy proto-clusters and clusters, and active galactic nuclei (AGN) feedback.
