Biography

Pei Gen Yan is a postdoctoral Scientist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He earned his Ph.D. in atomic and molecular physics from the University of New Brunswick, where his research centered on exploring quantum three body effects resulting from long range interactions in atomic systems. Over the past two years, he has held a position as a postdoctoral scientist at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where his responsibilities include conducting fundamental theoretical and computational research. He specializes in employing quantum mechanical techniques to investigate collisional and spectroscopic phenomena relevant to astrophysical applications. Yans work contributes valuable insights to the field of astrophysics and enhances our understanding of complex interactions within the cosmos
