Biography

Domenico Testa was Born in Caserta, Italy on 22 April 1967, received Classic Graduation in 1985. In July of 1992 he graduated in Medicine with highest honors. Authorized to practice medicine with honors, he was enroll in the academic year 1992-93, as a Fellow, at the School of Specialization in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico Facial Surgery University of Naples Federico II. Achieved the diploma of Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico Facial Surgery, October 1997, with highest honors. In 1997 / 98 is the winner of a Scholarship for PhD at the University of Catania. From 03/07/2000 to 30/09/2005 has worked at the University of Naples Federico II, as a Consultant for High Skills in ENT and Cervico Facial Surgery. In May 2004 he was awarded the prize for Unique SIO, experimental research The osteopontin, a new prognostic marker for Head and Neck Cancer. In October 2005 he won the competition as Aggregate Professor in Otolaryngology - banned by the Second University of Naples. In March 2006, he was assigned the Academy Award AUORL 2006 for the experimental study Composition of peripheral B cell compartment in patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis. Follows the Specialization in Audiology with highest honors in February 2007. In 2012, he won the Qualification to Associate Professor of Otorhinolaryngology, with the unanimous judgment of the Committee, February 5, 2014 (No Rating. 4578 - ASN). Associate Professor of Otolaryngology from November 1, 2014, was assigned to the Department of Anesthesiological and Surgical Science and Emergency of the Second University of Naples. In 2016, he participated at the National Competition for the qualification to Full Professor in Otorhinolaryngology, achieving the suitability, by unanimous decision of the commission, April 6,2017, (Ruling 1532/2016 - ASN). Participate as a Research Unit in numerous national and international research projects related to the neoplastic laryngeal disease, obstructive sleep disorders and allergic rhinitis. He is a Teacher of Otolaryngology, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Audiology and Vestibular since 1998, in the courses of Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Specialization Schools of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli and at University of Campobasso, School of Medicine and Surgery V. Tiberio.
