Biography

Dr. Anju Goyal is currently working as Professor& Head in Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab, India. She received her B.Pharmacy degree from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2002. She has completed her M.Pharmacy and Ph.D. Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Guru Jambheshwar University of Sciences & Technology, Hisar, Haryana, in 2004 and 2012 respectively.
In 2004, she joined the Department of Pharmacy, Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College of Pharmacy, Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth, Sirsa, Haryana as a Lecturer, and joined Rajendra Institute of Technology & Sciences, Sirsa, Hryana in 2005 as lecturer. Since July 2009, she has been with the Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Rajpura, where she was an Assistant Professor, became an Associate Professor in 2011, and a Professor in 2015. Her current research interests include Synthesis and Derivatisation of Heterocyclic Compounds to get final Nitric Oxide Donors , Ananytical Method Validation and Derivatisation of Natural Compounds and their Formulations.y. She is a Life Member of the Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Hospital Pharmacist Association (IHPA), Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA) and Society of Pharmacovigilance of India (SOPI).
She has more than 40 Publications to her credit. She has attended and has also presented papers in National/International Seminars and Conferences. She is also co-author of the book “Pharmaceutical Chemistry-VI (Medicinal Chemistry-1)” published by Thakur Publications and book chapters. She is reviewer and editorial board of reputed national and international journals.
