Biography

Dey Rumel was working as a Senior Executive in the Department of Global Regulatory Affairs at SQUARE Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He joined SQUARE in 2013. SQUARE is the number 01 generic pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh since 1985 and exporting medicines 43 countries across the world including USA, Europe, SE Asia, South Africa and East Africa. He was responsible for ensuring effective and timely approval of ANDA application in USA. Additionally, he was participating in interdisciplinary research and development projects for stringent regulatory body by working with formulation scientists, chemists, microbiologist, product pharmacist and other professionals. He has been actively working for the ANDA submission in eCTD format. Before joining to SQUARE he was in Quality Assurance department of Orion Pharma Ltd. for around 01 year. He was also international editorial board member of International Journal of Drug Regulatory Affairs. He was participated in many conferences and seminars across the globe like 6th and 7th Global Pharma Regulatory Affairs summit in 2017 & 2018. He has several publications. He has completed his graduation and post-graduation in Pharmacy from University of Science and technology Chittagong. During his Masters of Pharmacy course, he has undertaken a thesis on â€œFormulation and Characterization of Metformin and Repaglinide micropelletsâ€.
