Eshetu L Haile was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1982. I received BSc degree in 2005, the MSc degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from the Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia, in 2011, and the MA degree in Economics from St. Mary University, Ethiopia. In 2011, He was re-joined the institute of Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research, as a Researcher, technical supervisor and lab expert. Since Jan 2012, he became international consultant at UN WHO South Africa on the surveillance, immunization, data management and laboratory and became a consultant at GIZ, QA network, Afriqual and lecturer in AAU and private universities. His current research interests include ergonomics, design (laboratory, hospital and industry), process flow design, quality management, Muscekeloskeletal disorder, molecular biology, cell culture based technology, genetics, health economics and developmental economics. He certified international laboratory scientist (ASCP iCLS), USA and a professional Economist. Since 2005, he have been publishing papers as author and co-authors. He is a fellow of the American Society for Clinical pathology, Ethiopian Association of Medical Laboratory, Public Health Laboratory, Medical Association and Economics Association. He is a Managing Director of Africa Quality Consulting Firm and consultant/lecturer/trainer of quality management system, ergonomics and design, economics, research and development, monitoring and evaluation, research design and proposal writing, modeling and statistics analysis. He has been a pioneer in directing, couching, supervision of many medical laboratories in the areas of quality management, ergonomics and design, and able to accredited the fist medical laboratories in Ethiopia. He was a nominator of ASLM 2015 “The best lab in Africa”, ALERT Lab.
