Biography

He is a Full Professor of Biomechanics and Ergonomics at the University of Toulon and Director of the International Institute of Biomechanics and Occupational Ergonomics since 2021. He has established and directed several research laboratories and served on academic and scientific boards across universities and private institutions. He is also actively involved in international scientific societies, holding roles such as President, Deputy Director, and Board Member. Since 1994, he has authored over 230 peer-reviewed journal articles and presented them at more than 200 international conferences. A recipient of multiple research awards over the past 25 years, he has led projects in collaboration with global partners. He also serves on editorial boards of leading journals in biomechanics, sports science, biomedical engineering, and occupational health. He has reviewed numerous journals and funding agencies and supervised over 35 PhD candidates and 55 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
