He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Industrial Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). He specializes in Fire Safety Engineering, Building Services Engineering, and Occupational Safety and Health, with extensive experience spanning academia, industry, and higher education leadership. His professional career includes roles as a Site Engineer at Penang Development Corporation, a Lecturer and Fire Safety Consultant at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and a Fire Safety and Building Services Engineering Consultant in Scotland. His research interests focus on fire safety, environmental sustainability, building services, and educational leadership. He has published widely, supervised postgraduate students, secured national and international research grants, and contributed significantly to sustainability, environmental impact assessment, and waste management initiatives.
