Biography

Vitalii Timofev was born in 1985 in Voronezh, Russia. In 2005 he received a bachelor's degree in Voronezh State University (Biology Faculty, sub-faculty of Physiology and Biochemistry of Plants); in 2007 he received a master's degree in the educational center of microbiology and biotechnology of the Pushchino State University, in 2015. He received a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences in the State Research Center for Applied Microbiology & Biotechnology (FBIS SRCAMB). From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a senior laboratory assistant in the laboratory of radioactive isotopes, Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms, Russian Academy of Sciences, Pushchino. From 2008 to 2011 he worked as a microbiologist in the laboratory of mycelial cul-tures of the Voronezh hothouse combine. From 2011 to the present time he work in the laboratory of Anthrax microbiology of the FBIS SRCAMB, since 2015 he is the head of this laboratory.
