Biography

Biondi Antonio is involved in research activities at the Department of Surgery of the University of Catania and in teaching activities at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the same University. He has stable scientific collaborations with other Departments of Surgery and Research Laboratories in Italy. His areas of expertise include colorectal surgery and laparoscopic procedures. He has published more than 130 publications in International Journals, Proceedings and Books with referees and contributed papers at National, International Congresses and Workshops. He collaborates on research projects in General and Emergency Surgery funded by MURST (Ministero dellâ€™UniversitÃ e della Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica) and approved by the University of Catania. He collaborated on the oncology project approved and funded by Sicilian Region on â€œStudies on genetic and surgical therapy of gastrointestinal tumorsâ€.
