Biography

Wei Liu is a physician who works at Yichang Central Peoples Hospital, China. He is good at the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases and familiar with digestive endoscopic technique. He devotes himself to the study of pathogenic mechanism of hepatitis B virus and HBV-relavent liver diseases. Furthermore, the research project about HBV pathogenicity was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

He received his doctorate of philosophy in basic medicine from Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education for Gastrointestinal Cancer in Fujian medical university in China. He is a self-motivated, a creative thinker, a fast learner and a good collaborator with good communication and writing skills. He has published or coauthored 20 papers in peer-reviewed international well-known journals, such as FASEB J, journal of immunology, journal of virology and American journal of pathology.
