Biography

Yanqiao Zhang is a Professor and the Director of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism Research at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He received his MD degree from Wuhan University School of Medicine. He did his postdoctoral training in West Virginia University and University of California at Los Angeles. He has served on many NIH and AHA study sections and several journal editorial boards. His research interests include fatty liver disease, diabetes, obesity and atherosclerosis. He has published papers in Nature Communications, Hepatology, PNAS, Genes & Development, etc.
