Biography

Lachezar Ivanov Manchev was born in 1985 in Burgas, Bulgaria. He studied Foreign Language School “Romain Rolland” Stara Zagora Bulgaria between 1999-2004. In 2010 he is graduated in medicine in Medical Faculty, Trakia University, Stara Zagora. Since 2010 he works as radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging in University Hospital, Stara Zagora. Between 2013 and 2018 he was assistant professor in the department of Radiology in Medical faculty, Trakia University Stara Zagora. Since 2018 he is associated professor in Radiology in the same university. In his practice he presents lectures and practitional classes in Bulgarian and to medical, nursing, midwifery and rehabilitation students, in subject areas including X ray, CT, MRI, Angiography, Mammography, Ultrasound, DSG. He presents also lectures and practitional classes in English to medical students from United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Since 2016 he works as part time lecturer in the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care and the Medical College, University "Professor Doctor Asen Zlatarov" Burgas, Bulgaria. Assoc.prof.Manchev is an author of more than 35 scientific publications. Since 2020 he is head of Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Disaster medicine in the Faculty of Medicine, Trakia University, Stara Zagora Bulgaria. Assoc.prof.Manchev speaks English, German and Italian.
