Salah Ud Din Khan is working in the capacity of Associate Professor (Nuclear Energy) at Sustainable Energy Technologies (SET) Center, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He gains higher achievements in the field of nuclear reactor safety while conducting handsome amount work on NK/TH coupling and in reactor core design. His work contained in designing and simulation of reactor technology is well proven and published in highly reputed journals. He modified simulation codes to be employed in nuclear reactor analysis. His area of research is broadening to desalination, cost estimation concept, radiological protection, nuclear forensics, radiation-shielding materials, computational techniques for synthesizes and development of materials. He owned projects on small modular nuclear reactors, material development and on desalination systems. He is the editor (book) of one of the most scientific publishers, Elsevier. He is in the editorial board of some journals and acts as guest editor in some journals as well. His tenure of experience ranges from Lecturer, Senior Researcher, Assistant/Associate Professor, and Visiting Scientist/Professor in reputed institutes and in universities. He has published around 100 international research articles with accumulative impact factor of 120. He authored three books and some book chapters as well. He delivered number of talks on international scientific platform and has been honored of being as guest/invited speaker.
