Concepcion Lujan Alvarez, professor, Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. Doctorate (Ph.D.), New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM. USA., August 1997. Master of Science in Agribusiness Development, Autonomous University of Chihuahua, August 1990. Forest Agronomist Engineer, Michoacan University of San Nicolas de Hidalgo, June 1981. Research and development projects manager related to sustainable forestry development. Member of National and International Networks in forest research. Training of human resources: teaching: doctoral, master and bachelor levels and theses advisor. Publications: author of books, book chapters and scientific articles. National and International Congresses: Mexico, Japan, South Korea, India, England, Germany, Malaysia, Finland, Canada, Chile, USA, Costa Rica. Memberships of professional societies: National Academy of Forest Sciences, A.C.; Mexican Society of Forest Resources, A.C.; Mexican Association of Forest Professionals, A.C.; Mexican Civil Council of Sustainable Forestry A.C. Awards received: Doctor Honoris Causa-Peru; National Forest Merit Award-Mexico; Member of the National System of Researchers-CONACYT.
