Dr Suiven John Paul Tume holds a PhD in Geography and Planning with the option agro-hydro climatology from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. His landmark PhD Thesis was on Indigenous Adaptation to Climate Variability of Rain-fed Agro-hydrological Systems in the Bui Plateau, Northwest Region, Cameroon. He is presently teaching at the Department of Geography and Planning, The University of Bamenda. Dr. Tume does research on the impacts of climate variability and change agriculture, natural resources, health and infrastructure. He has been carrying research so far in the Bamenda Highlands of Cameroon. He also volunteers in some local NGOs as a researcher in climate change vulnerability assessment and adaptation.
