Biography

Lecturer PhD. Eng. Elena Camelia Musat – 8 years of experience in research and higher education at the Faculty of Silviculture and Forest Engineering, PhD degree obtained in 2011, a POSDRU post-doctoral contract, when she applied o modern technique to determine the intern wood quality of trees (sound tomograph). She achieved experience in forest fires, forest roads and machinery for roads construction. She is an expert in forest ergonomics and work safety, and coordinated participation of the Transilvania University of Brasov in several national projects. She has expertise in wood mechanics and tree stability and coordinated a local project aiming to determine the stability of urban and park trees.
