He was borned in Madiun city, East Java island of Indonesia last May 20th 1954. He finished the undergraduate studies in Indonesia last 1983 (majoring physics/meteorology) and pursuing into Ph.D degree in University of the Philippines, Manila Philippines. He have been assigned as official government of Indonesia under Meteorological Agency of Indonesia since 1977 up to present. Having experience in research in the national level of Indonesia as member National Research Council for the period 1989 to 2011, beside he joined under Tropical Meteorological Research under World Meteorological Organization (WMO) on the period 1995 to 2005. Additional research activities was done after assigning as Reviewer National Report of the European countries under Secretariat United Nations of Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC)and some collaboration in research activities were involved with Australian and American Scientist during period 1988 to 2002. Starting 2005 to present time he has been reviewer of the research proposal project of environment & climate under Asia Pacific Network (APN in Japan). Now he have been as Senior Lecturer Under State College Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics under Meteorological and Geophysical Agency of Indonesia with additional expertise as consultant in weather, climate and natural disasters from extreme weather & climate in the tropics of Indonesia.
